Recurring every year back on popular demand, theatre Olympics 2018 has opened its gates for the public from the 17th of February 2018 and is hosting one of the best theatre shows in town that are very economical/affordable and full of a powerful message at the same time.
This year’s special feature goes to a theatre show by the name ‘Sakura’ being performed by a Japanese group ‘Kamigatamai’ who has years of expertise and has the power to really carry away the audience in the flow of emotions and story.
Based on the story of the bombings in Hiroshima and Nagasaki which completes its 70th anniversary this year, the play really depicts the issues, problems and destruction that the people of Japan have faced after this painful attack. Further, they bring out a message of universal peace and calmness to avoid these happenings. “May there never be another Hiroshima and Nagasaki on this earth”.
Specially scripted in the Japanese language, this play will give you the feel of being present in these two cities at the time of these bombings. We strongly encourage the people to visit and witness this awesome meaningful play to understand the hardships that the people faced.
